Additional information and a link to SOPHAS may be found on the Admissions Office webpage.
- Applicants to the training program should select the appropriate designation listed in SOPHAS (i.e. RES/MPH GPMR 2026, RES/GPMR 2026) as their degree program. Only one application is required; both the residency program and the MPH admissions committees will review completed applications separately and simultaneously. Acceptance by the school's MPH program is required for admission to the residency program.
- Any applicant who holds an MPH (or equivalent master’s degree per ACGME guidelines) is required to meet with program leadership in advance of submitting their SOPHAS application. This will allow program leadership to review their academic record and review their options so that they can make the best-informed decision of applying to RES/GPMR only or GPMR/MPH designation. Invited applicants will complete one application to the Hopkins GPMR/MPH Program, which will be reviewed by both the Hopkins GPMR and MPH Admissions Committees simultaneously. Acceptance to the Hopkins MPH program is required for admission to the residency program. Applicants should not submit their SOPHAS application until contacted by the GPMR program. The program will supply specific instructions at that time.
