🎓 Registration-Fee Scholarships

Supporting Access to Global Public Health Education

One of the core goals of the Johns Hopkins Fall Institute in Health Policy and Management is to expand access to high-quality public health education. To help achieve this mission, the Institute offers a limited number of registration-fee scholarships for public health professionals who may not otherwise have access to formal academic programs.

⚠️ Please note: These scholarships cover registration fees only for Fall Institute 2025 courses and workshops.
They do not cover travel or accommodation expenses and are not available to:

• Students currently enrolled in any Johns Hopkins University degree program
• Participants seeking Johns Hopkins academic credit for their coursework

📝 Application Process

To be considered for a scholarship, applicants must complete the online scholarship application in full. Applications will be reviewed by the Fall Institute Scholarship Review Committee, following criteria established by the Fall Institute Oversight Committee.

Required Materials

• A CV or résumé (in English, PDF format)
• Responses to questions on:
  • Current employment status
  • Academic background
  • Career goals and objectives
  • How the selected course(s) align with your professional development

Personal Statement Guidance

Be as clear and specific as possible. Your personal statement should:

• Explain your interest in the selected course(s)
• Demonstrate how your participation aligns with the course content and objectives
• Describe how the knowledge and skills gained will be applied in your job or academic work

📅 Key Dates

• Scholarship Application Opens: July 1, 2025
• Application Deadline: August 1, 2025

✅ Upon successful submission, you will receive an email confirmation. Please retain this email as proof of submission.

📌 Important Notes

• Scholarships are course-specific and non-transferable. Be sure to review the course schedule before submitting your application.
• Recipients must be able to cover their own travel and lodging costs in Barcelona.
