Welcome to the Roger and Flo Lipitz Center to Advance Policy in Aging and Disability, an interdisciplinary collaborative at the Johns ѻý. The Center conducts innovative research, educates the leaders of tomorrow, and translates discoveries into policies and practices to improve the quality of care and quality of life of people with complex health needs and disabilities. The center is led by Jennifer L. Wolff, PhD ’03, MHS '95, the Eugene and Mildred Lipitz Professor in the Department of Health Policy and Management at the School.

The center's director, advances policies and programs that improve quality of care and life of older adults with complex health needs and their caregivers.
Long-term Goals:
- Research: To conduct research to promote the delivery of comprehensive, coordinated, compassionate, and affordable care to persons with complex health needs and disabilities, including engagement and support of those involved in their care across the spectrum of care settings.
- Education: To prepare the next generation of scholars, practitioners, and administrators to lead research, policy, and practice initiatives that advance person- and family-centered care for persons with complex health needs and disabilities and those involved in their care.
- Policy & Practice: To engage in policy and practice initiatives that advance access to high quality and affordable care and disseminate knowledge to those in a position to effect changes including policy officials, health care leaders, health professionals, and researchers.

New National Institute on Aging (NIA) Grant
Chanee Fabius, PhD, recently received a National Institute on Aging K01 Mentored Research Scientist Development award for her proposal “Improving Information Sharing Between Family Caregivers and Home Care Aides Caring for Persons Living with ADRD,” which aims to develop and refine a home care role and preference guide to improve information sharing between family caregivers of older adults living with ADRD and home care aides.
