Hospital-Based Nursing Safety:
|
Click here to go to the resources page for more information and additional information related to this topic.A Hospital-Based Nursing Safety conference was held April 3 & 4, 2018 with the objective of taking current knowledge about safety culture and making it accessible to hospital-based nursing personnel and supervisors, so they can apply it to their own workplaces. Nurses and nursing assistants know the importance of patient safety, but is their own safety a priority in their workplace? Hospital-based healthcare workers have a higher incidence of injury and illness than other workers in hazardous jobs. This training will provide resources, identify gaps and show nursing personnel how to bolster safety culture and leadership in their workplace, which in turn will positively impact patient safety. |
