Joseph Gallo, MD, MPH
Dr. Gallo is Director of the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research and a Professor in the Department of Mental Health in the Johns ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ with a joint appointment in the School of Medicine. He is also the Director of the Mixed Methods Training Program for Health Sciences. Joe is the Administrative Core Director for the JHAD- RCMAR and chairs the Executive Committee.

Roland J. Thorpe, Jr., PhD
Dr. Thorpe is Director of the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research and a Professor in the Department of Health, Behavior, and Society in the Johns ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ with a joint appointment in the Department of Neuroscience, and Geriatric Medicine and Gerontology in the School of Medicine. He is also a Core Faculty member in the Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health and the Center for Innovative Care in Aging in the School of Nursing. He is the Administrative Core Co-Director for the JHAD-RCMAR and oversees the Research Education Component.

George W. Rebok, PhD
Dr. Rebok is Senior Advisor of the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer’s Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research and a Professor in the Department of Mental Health in the Johns ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½ with a joint appointment in the Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences in the School of Medicine. He is also a Core Faculty member in the Johns Hopkins Center on Aging and Health and the Center for Innovative Care in Aging in the School of Nursing. He is the Administrative Core Director for the JHAD- RCMAR and chairs the Executive Committee.
Administrative Research Coordinator
Veronica Washington
Veronica is the Administrative Research Coordinator at the Johns Hopkins Alzheimer's Disease Resource Center for Minority Aging Research (JHAD-RCMAR). She joined the team in September 2020, bringing a background in project coordination.
She holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Health and Human Science from Morgan State University. In her role, she supports the center’s research initiatives, coordinates administrative activities, and works closely with faculty, staff, and community partners to advance health equity in aging research.
With a passion for supporting impactful research and a commitment to fostering inclusive, efficient work environments, Veronica plays a key role in the center’s mission to reduce disparities and improve health outcomes for minority older adults.
