The Pearl and Jeremiah German Scholarship in Gerontology

Established in 2001, this fund provides tuition assistance or stipend support or both to those doctoral students in the Department of Health Policy and Management or at the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology, and Clinical Research who have declared interest in gerontology.
Eligibility
Continuing PhD or DrPH (HPM concentration) students in good academic standing, who have passed or will have apssed the school-wide preliminary oral exam by March 18, 2018, from either the Department of Health Policy and Management or the Welch Center for Prevention, Epidemiology and Clinical Research, with a focus in gerontology, are eligible to apply for this award. Previous German Award recipients are not eligible.

Students should follow the new HPM Endowment process provided in the RFA distriubuted in December. Students should note previous HPM awards received and their projected funding situation for the coming year in their statement and/or C.V.
