Overview

I have completed a Ph.D. and postdoctoral training in epidemiology, specializing in epidemiologic methods and translational epidemiology. I have utilized molecular epidemiology, transmission and prediction modeling, longitudinal cohort analysis, and health economics in my TB/HIV research.

Over the last six years, I have designed and implemented clinical trials and observational studies in international settings to enhance the diagnosis and treatment of TB/HIV. My research goal has been to translate epidemiological evidence into real-world implementations by optimizing the use of innovative diagnostics and treatments.

Beyond TB/HIV, my expertise in quantitative epidemiology has led to collaborations that study other diseases, such as Chagas disease, respiratory and neurological diseases, and sexually transmitted infections.
