At the first installment of Public Health and AI Strategic Endeavors (PHAISE), a school-wide initiative to explore the use of AI and data science to solve key public health issues, Nilanjan Chatterjee, Professor, Biostatistics, David Dowdy, Professor, Epidemiology, and Kadija Ferryman, Assistant Professor, Health Policy and Management, gather to navigate topics in AI and biostatistics, bias, and education. Dean Ellen MacKenzie introduces PHAISE and its goals in 2024, while Greg Kirk, Vice Dean for Research, moderates the panel discussion. PHAISE is led in partnership by the Office of Research and the Dean's Office.
