Students engage with cutting-edge research in health economics, present and receive feedback on early-stage work, discuss professional development topics, and meet and network with economists external to Hopkins.
Learning Objectives
Upon successfully completing this course, students will be able to:
  1. Discuss current research in health economics
  2. Critically evaluate papers in health economics for their contribution to the literature and empirical rigor
  3. Present research to an academic audience
  4. Become knowledgeable about academic publishing, conferences, and job market opportunities specific to health economists
