Interoperability Models to Drive Digital Health Transformation
Insights from 5 Countries at Varying Stages of Digital Health Maturity
Mark your calendars for the Center for Global Digital Health Innovation’s (CGDHI) third webinar in our series on the drivers of digital health transformation! Join us for "Interoperability Models to Drive Digital Health Transformation" — a conversation on digital architecture and interoperability models, from foundational to scaled. Based on multi-country research from five countries (Rwanda, Ghana, India, Brazil, and Finland) at varying stages of digital health maturity, this session engages ministry officials, WHO technical experts, and digital health researchers in a discussion about foundational digital health architecture. Topics to be covered include: why foundational architecture—such as an interoperable health information exchange (HIE) and digital public infrastructure (DPI)—are essential for the digital transformation of primary healthcare (PHC), pathways for digitizing and establishing interoperable digital health systems, and what factors make them successful, from inception to implementation at scale. Experts from the WHO’s Global Initiative on Digital Health (GIDH) will also share information on their latest efforts and tools that support countries in building robust digital health architectures for primary healthcare.
