Students Earn Funding for Innovative Policy Projects
These selected graduate students will lead projects in locations from Wisconsin to Kenya.
The Bloomberg School’s recently chose four graduate students for the 2012-2013 Lipitz Public Health Policy Fund Awards. The prestigious awards provide financial resources for projects that aim to advance public health policy around the world by engaging governments, communities and other partners.
This year’s winning projects (below) focus on several recent public health “hot topics” like community supported agriculture (CSAs), using cell phones to send vaccination reminders, vaccine access as it relates to policy and developing field guides for urban slum health programs.
