CDC Honors Bloomberg School Injury Prevention Leaders
As part of its national 20th anniversary celebration, the CDC’s will pay tribute to four Bloomberg School researchers who continue to lead the way in the fields of violence and injury prevention.
The National Center for Injury Prevention and Control launched its "20 for 20 Project" earlier this month by announcing 20 individuals who will be honored throughout the anniversary year. Among the esteemed list are the following Bloomberg School representatives.

| , PhD – The current Fred and Julie Soper chair of the and former director of the , Professor MacKenzie’s research focuses on the impact of health services and policies on survivors of traumatic injury. |
During the 20th anniversary, the CDC aims not only to celebrate the accomplishments of its injury center, but also to honor the ground-breaking work from the entire field.
