On May 8, D.A. Henderson, MD, MPH, dean emeritus of the Johns ÎÚÑ»´«Ã½, visited the School to discuss his new book, Smallpox: The Death of a Disease, which presents an inside look at the elimination of the worldwide killer. Henderson led the World Health Organization's campaign that eradicated smallpox in the 1970s. The special lecture and book signing were part of the School's Milestones in Public Health Grand Rounds Series.
